Download the Table of Contents and a sample chapter of
Practical Photoshop CS4: Level 1 (in low resolution)
You will need Adobe Reader 7 or higher, or Adobe Acrobat 7 or higher to view the sample chapters. You can download Adobe Reader 9 for free at: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.
For each of the downloads, it works best to right-click (two button mouse) or control + click (one button mouse) and save the file to your hard drive or a flash disk rather than trying to open the pdf file in your browser. Once downloaded, open Adobe Reader or Acrobat, and then choose File > Open and navigate to your downloaded file. From there, you can either read the sample chapters on screen or print them.
